I've decided I'm going to use all the money I save by not going out due to the virus to buy a lovely new bag.

Can anyone recommend a great British brand that does beautiful handbags- high quality leather, mid priced (£150 - £400 ish)

Thanks everyone- some great suggestions I've never heard of! I love the Strathberry bags- not sure I can quite stretch that far- who knows though- this thing could go on a long time...

Have a look at Aurora London. In your price range, lots of cheery colours and free delivery / discount at the moment.

I got a great leather tote from Aspinal of London just squeaking into your price range on sale. It’s really nice quality and I think the sale is still on

Without knowing your spend limit, Hilaryjohnsonhandmade.co uk handcrafts bags to your specification. I don't have one, but see her at craft fairs, and in this economic landscape I would like to support individual makers. I hope you get tons of new names.

Osprey have great bags. In your price range. Russell and Bromley are also good bags.

The last time I looked, Scotland was still British!
