Jordan Samuel Skin Hydrate the serum. Beautiful light but still very hydrating stuff.

I’m a huge fan of the whole brand. Mr Jordan Samuel himself is lovely and so so responsive to his customers.

Clinique smart repair serum - expensive but concentrated & a drop goes a long way!

Lardlizard · 17/03/2020 20:20

The Ordinary Buffet is fantastic!

RacheyCat · 26/03/2020 02:59

I use La Roche Posay Hyalu B5 serum. Really like it, and I rub the excess into my hands. I had hand surgery last year and had significant numbness down the surgical scar, and this has brought a lot of sensation back. My surgeon did actually say vitamin B was good for nerve healing and this seems to have been true.

Lardlizard · 26/03/2020 05:58

Ok thanks, I might just treat myself to a few more bits to keep me going

I currently use and love Clarins Double Serum. Has anyone else used this and found something better ( and / or cheaper😂)?

The Ordinary 'Buffet' Brilliant. I've switched from Estee Lauder, and not because it is $$$'s cheaper, it is miles better.

Order it onlilne.

BillieEilish · 26/03/2020 19:28

The Ordinary Vit C is a life saver for me also.

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/03/2020 20:27

Agree re The Ordinary range - I use the buffet and the hyaluronic acid - brilliant

ClientQueen · 26/03/2020 20:30

Lots! My faves are Superdrug pure hydrating - I mean it's £4 and it's excellent
And murad revitalixir (purple bottle)
Hydraluron for when my skin is more dry

JollyGiraffe12 · 26/03/2020 22:21

I have dry skin and didn’t really get on with ordinary buffet - my current favourite is ESPA optimal pro serum Smile I also use a no. 7 serum it’s in a white tube glow activating or something along those lines which I actually use as a primer because of the consistency

JollyGiraffe12 · 26/03/2020 22:22

Ooh also the vitamin E serum from Superdrug is fabulous for the price!

MorrisZapp · 26/03/2020 22:25

I use the Avene hydrating one. It feels like a light lotion and my skin just drinks it. I eke it out by cocktailing it with Inky List hyaluronic acid.

Every other serum either feels sticky, or like a basic moisturiser.

Jeremypaxo · 26/03/2020 22:26

Vichy Aqualia Thermale. I love it. Smells and feels great.

LadyJessica · 26/03/2020 22:36

I first tried Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 followed by The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% at the start of the year and was very happy with the combination. I have a lot of pigmentation and the niacinamide has really helped reduce it.

When I finished the Skinceuticals bottle, I switched to The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 but I think I'll go back to Skinceuticals next. I'm getting a lot more pilling and have gotten a few spots after switching.

yousexybugger · 26/03/2020 23:11

the ordinary buffet and hyaluronic acid for me. I also like their glycolic toner and have bought the bloody red face peel which I will try tonight!

yousexybugger · 26/03/2020 23:13

the whole superdrug vitamin E range is terrific for the money too

Shmithecat2 · 26/03/2020 23:27

What do you want from a serum?

MayTheGodsBeEverInYourFavour · 26/03/2020 23:31

Kohakuhada lotion, the amber one, not the "extra moisturising" one. Great, cheap, unfragranced. I do order it from Japan though, so not especially convenient.

Smithesque · 26/03/2020 23:36

I have and use The ordinary Buffet but find Aldi's Q10 Serum much better. I ended up using both (together) but found I have found no difference if I leave the ordinary Buffet out.

I have dry skin and also use Clarins Beauty Balm and a Bobbi Brown foundation, Chanel powder and Clarins blush and eyeshadow too. They're all the best I have found.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, their eyeshadow and Aldi's serum are the three I will stand by though. (The rest I am sticking with only cos I paid money for them rather than their worth)
