For pretty much the first time ever, I have stuck to a gym regime since Christmas, watched what I eat, started fitting into things one or even two sizes smaller, bought some really good holiday attire, booked a beach break .... and now no-one will see any of it.

And by the time we can socialise again, boredom will have made me eat my own weight on Malteaster bunnies ...

Bah!

Poor you. But good for those of us who haven't bothered and can feel oddly smug at the no effort, so you've done a public service Wink Cake

I’ve dropped a dress size too; I’ve been really disciplined.

I like having a round belly button instead one stretched into a line, so I’m gonna keep it up (plus I can’t afford to eat- every cloud eh?)

Congrats on all your hard work! Sounds like you’ve been very disciplined.

I feel like this too - different situation though.

I lost weight after a stressful period (in a bad way, i was already slim so lost my curves) so have been trying to gain bulk via weight lifting & diet - feel like I’m going to revert all my progress without gym!

I know how you feel, I’d just started to loose a few pounds after coming out of my regular winter hibernation when I put on exactly 10lbs every year Grin No way I’ll be able to keep it up now that I’m not walking to and from work every day, going to exercise classes etc, never mind the carefully planned meals and snacks - I need the structure and discipline!

Today was the first day of most of my team WFH and I was laughing at the amount of them saying on a team chat earlier that they’re going to get mega-fit and healthy while they’re at home. Yeah right, come June or whenever it’s going to be we’ll all be going back into the office wearing our tracksuit bottoms because nothing else fits!

DH has set his weights up beside his desk in the living room and is lifting them every hour - he thinks he’s going to be ripped by the summer Hmm

DariaMorgendorffer · 18/03/2020 00:24

I am the same! Managed to lose some weight during autumn, and even keep it off over Christmas.
Haven't stopped eating since Friday Blush really need to pull myself together!

Cinnamon - you're welcome!

I dug out an exercise dvd and did it yesterday, plus an hour's walk.

Anyone going to join me today?
