Need a Wedding Outfit - Help please..

Hi,
We have just received an invitation to a friend's Wedding at the beginning of May. I have no idea what to wear - so I need some help please...something that doesn't make me feel frumpy! I am 39, 5ft 5 and size 10....I suit fitted dresses, rather than A Line style. I carry most of my weight around my tummy...so pleats etc do nothing for me. Can anyone help with some suggestions. Thank you.

First of all, are you sure the wedding will take place? Given the health emergency we've been given warning that a wedding in July may not happen in the booked venue.

Otherwise my normal suggestion would be to go to John Lewis and get a personal shopper session. They are brilliant at all budgets shakes and sizes. If you want online and dont mind getting stuff and returning, look at Boden ( dresses and jumpsuits), and Baukjen and me and em have lovely things.

I kind of want to post a picture of a hazmat ‘wedding guest’ outfit but I think the search for an image might be tricky to find ?
I love optimism but surely it’s unlikely to go ahead ?

Sadly I think the wedding will be cancelled.

I have had 2 cancel around a similar date.
