New ankle boots, will they give a bit?

I purchased a pair of ankle boots from eBay (nearly new). They fit but just feel a little bit tight across the foot, a bit stiff. They aren’t real leather I don’t think. Will they give a bit after some more wears?

I had faux leather shoes that were too tight across the widest part of my food. I blasted them with the hairdryer for a bit the wore them with extra thick socks while they cooled down. It worked and stopped them pinching me
