Often see posters raving how great they are.
I am happy to spend money on a great product but needing a new dog walking coat and looking at their website their coats don't really look good on the models .
They just kind of hang and certainly don't look like expensive coats .
Please any body who has one tell me all about them .

Personally I wouldn't get one as a dog-walking coat!

I have the City Walker and Mac - the former is the perfect tucking in your backpack for a day out waterproof. Very light and soft to wear but keep you properly dry and doesn't crease much. Mine is a bit tent-like but the smaller size was just too small, so I don't mind that too much.

The Mac is for work - I wanted a smart work coat with a good that was properly waterproof and pickings were pretty slim a few years ago! I like it for its practicality but I wouldn't say it's super stylish, really. For a dog-walking coat I'd look for a discounted Didriksons - greatest coats EVER!

Sorry, meant to to say - I got my Mac half-price a couple of years ago (so £99ish) and the CW for about £120 I think - I'd have baulked at paying full price...

I have two and love them but agree I wouldn't get them for dog walking. I wear them to work when it's wet as they are completely waterproof (and windproof). They look quite smart on. Smarter than they look on the website. There's no heat in them at all though so quite a limited time to wear them in the year. Perfect for commuting!

I got the Parka for playground duty when it's showery, but not necessarily really cold. I have worn it with a Uniqlo ulralight down coat underneath for a bit of added warmth too.

MerryDeath · 14/03/2020 21:52

the fabric is lovely, i didn't keep the one i tried on though.. i just didn't love it enough. they really aren't very dog walky at all.

Very suitable for dog walking! Especially the parka! I cannot think why these costs wouldn’t be suitable for going out with the dog.

sonjadog · 15/03/2020 14:07

I never realized that people needed a special coat for walking the dog. I wear an old fleece myself.

Floisme · 15/03/2020 14:25

No idea about dog walking but I have the mac and it is smart, fully waterproof and has a hood, which I think is a rare combination - ridiculous in a UK climate but here we are.

What it does lack is a detachable, warm lining.

Alez · 15/03/2020 17:22

I have one. I like it, but not sure it's worth the money.

BubblesBuddy · 16/03/2020 09:23

I always had a dog walking coat for rain. Mine was a Seasalt. Old fleeces are not waterproof are they? I have a couple of Burberry raincoats. I don’t wear them for dog walking.
