Can't find any bikini bottoms to cover bottom!

I don't want the shorts style, just 'normal' ones, but every one I try on seems tiny in the bum area! I am a 10/12ish and have gone up to some 14s to try them on, but they gape on the waist if they fit on the hips.

I just want some basic coverage like a pair of pants! I've tried M&S, primark & Next so far, any other suggestions?

Mine are figleaves, I'm ample in size!

Figleaves. Check the photo of the back to see they cover the model's arse before you order. The outlet site is great.

ReginaGeorgeous · 11/03/2020 17:49

I’m a 12 and generous of arse. I too swear by Figleaves.

Oh wow a consensus, I like that!! I'll have a look, thank you Smile

Just want to add Bravissimo had some decent coverage bikini bottoms when I was looking there the other day. All their bikini bottoms are separates and some are actually "mix and match" designed to be generic to be worn with any top.

Surely buying a tie-side bikini a few sizes up would work.

emsyj37 · 11/03/2020 19:57

Not necessarily, if the bottom style isn't designed to cover your whole arse. You need a style that is supposed to be cut to cover the bum cheeks otherwise the shape will never cover you and hug the bits it needs to to maintain the coverage when you walk.

CandiceSucksCandy · 12/03/2020 10:46

Stay away from ASOS, bum floss bikinis seem to be in at the moment.

AhoyMrBeaver · 12/03/2020 10:47

I've been buying mine in Next for the past couple of years. Full bum coverage, but definitely pants and not shorts.

BigGee · 12/03/2020 10:49

Stay Wild Swim have lovely bum covering, high waisted bottoms now. Pricy though, but they're made from recycled ocean plastics so ethically sound, if that's your thing.

Thank you for the tips! Will do some shopping around with your suggestions.

I almost have the opposite problem; too much bum cheek coverage! I’d like something just a little cheeky (in the true sense of the word) and find it so difficult to find a happy medium between a thong and something that looks like my grandmother’s knickers!

4OClockRock · 13/03/2020 13:12

Thanks for the tips from me too! I'm a size 10/12 too but was starting to feel like a giant-bummed freak!

BringMeTea · 13/03/2020 14:36

Yeah, it took me a while to realize it wasn't me but that fashion had definitely moved on! You can still find some coverage but not without a hunt. Seafolly still seem ok as do PourMoi.
