I'm currently using:

L'Oréal fresh flowers cleansing milk. It's OK.
Garnier Rose toner. Again OK.
Garnier organic rose moisturiser. Love this.

Just wondering what other budget skincare products are nice for when I run out of these.

Most of the ‘simply pure’ range at Superdrug is very nice.

Morning face wash: Neutrogena Clear & Defend Wash Mask, currently £3.33 at Boots

Toner: Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Tonic 5%, £9.99 for 300ml (which lasts for ages and is often buy one get one free)

Moisturiser: Simple spot control one (that's been discontinued Sad)

Evening: Take make up off with Garnier Micellar Water Sensitive Skin, which is £3.99 for a big bottle at boots atm. Tone and use No7 HydraLuminous Overnight Recovery Gel Cream for my night cream, bit pricey at £14 but is often on offer and it lasts for ages.

Also like to use Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel (£6.99, often buy one get one free), and No7 Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion Face Exfoliator (£11) once or twice a week.

I really liked the b: stuff in superdrugs.

Now I use soap & water or a 'magic' make up remover cloth and Nivea creme at night and an Aldi factor 15 anti aging cream in the morning. Sometimes I use their factor fifty facial sun cream first but it goes on like body sun cream so I might try benefits sun cream next, I think it's a serum and is intended to be used separately to moisturizer.

Water is the best regime, and staying out of the sun though.

I used a discount code to try face theory recently and it’s brilliant

PlanDeRaccordement · 11/03/2020 06:19

Cleanser- water
Moisturiser- pure aloe Vera gel extract.

Fairylea · 11/03/2020 06:20

I use Nivea face wash, the standard blue one. Nivea blue cream for night and Boots Your Good Skin day cream with SPF30. Each thing is about £3-5ish. I had terrible acne when I was younger but I’m now nearly 40 and my skin is clear, if a bit oily. I love these products and use them all the time.

woodencoffeetable · 11/03/2020 06:23

bar soap & flannel
nivea q10 spf 30
the ordinary chemical peel

Blingismything · 11/03/2020 06:37

Cien face wash Lidl 79p
Micellar water for quick swish of make up removal at night
Simple moisturiser

xyzandabc · 11/03/2020 07:05

Water and exfoliating mitt every other day followed by Clinique moisture surge. Nothing on the in between day.
I don't wear make up which probably helps.

Lottiebugz22 · 11/03/2020 09:24

I've looked at your good skin before. I think I will have to try it. I've used superdrug spf 30 facial moisturiser on holiday along with the facial after sun and my skin was great. Most likely the sun and relaxation though Grin

Superdrug vitamin e hot cloth cleanser with cheap white flannels I got off amazon.
Superdrug simply pure day serum, at night I cleanse and then use either the Superdrug vitamin e serum or the b optimal retinol serum.
In the day I use the Superdrug vitamin e day moisturiser spf and the same range night cream at night.
When in the shower I use soap to wash my face as a deep clean and then cleanse as usual.
I have tried tons and tons of skin care stuff and this lot suits my skin and my skin glows and is very smooth.

inwood · 11/03/2020 13:06

Micelar water- any.
Lacura from Aldi day and night cream.cant rave about it enough.
Blue Nivea once a week overnight.

I'm 44 and done with paying££££££ for stuff that is equally the same, if not better.

emma6776 · 11/03/2020 20:42

Morning
Wash face with dove bar & water
Superdrug vitamin E serum then NUXE delicious spf 50 suncream as my moisturiser - it’s £18 but I use the face & body one which lasts me a year & I buy from M&S on offer.
Night
Tretonoin every other night alternated with Superdrug glycolic toner.
Superdrug Vit E serum
Superdrug vit E oil

My skin has never been so good since I stopped using loads of lotions and potions!

All I use is Nivea make up remover, hot water in the shower and Nivea soft face cream afterwards.

So nothing stripping/'cleaning'.

winterisstillcoming · 11/03/2020 20:56

I've heard loads of good things about Aldi's lacura range. I'm going to try it after I've used up my massive stash.

snappycamper · 11/03/2020 21:03

Waitrose pure range is nice, particularly the night cream

APurpleSquirrel · 11/03/2020 21:08

Morning - Lush 9-5 Cleanser followed by Nivea Q10 Age Spot Moisturiser as it's the only Nivea one with SPF30
Night - L'Oreal Micelluar Water followed by Nivea Q10 Night cream.

legalseagull · 11/03/2020 21:11

Splash my face with water and dry with a towel Grin

freda123 · 14/03/2020 08:04

I use a combination of body shop and The Ordinary.
Couldn't live without:
Buffet serum - The Ordinary
Bouncy Night Mask - Body Shop
Natural Moisturizing Factors - The Ordinary
Vitamin C Skin Reviver - Body Shop (I use this as a primer and couldn't go without it under make up now!)

Follow Caroline Hirons, she's an amazing source of advice and covers budget options! Cerave or cetaphil are good options.

thebear1 · 14/03/2020 08:12

Micelar water, whichever is on offer and on a night a face oil, which is normally whatever is less than £10 in Tkmax.

Lottiebugz22 · 14/03/2020 08:20

I've also heard good things about aldi.
