Teeth whitening question

Hi

Has anyone done the teeth whitening at home from the dentist (the one where the trays are fitted to your teeth and you take the tray home ) and been given the 6 percent Hydrogen peroxide ?

I’m confused as my dentist told me only need to wear the tray for a hour a day as the HP stops working after 30mins to a hour.. but everyone else I know who’s done teeth whitening has been told to keep it in over night.. however they were given CP not HP.

My leaflet in the box days 6 percent HP is an hour and half max.. but another leaflet says 3 hours minimum pref over night. I’m confused and dentist isn’t answering the phone.

Listen to your dentist
He knows the strength of your teeth
Other people may have stronger teeth
Or more discoloured
Yes I have used tw from my private dentist and believe me an hour is more than enough per night
My teeth are hyper sensitive
The treatment works well

I have the 6% and leave on for around 2 hours. Anymore and your teeth are unbearably sensitive. I know people with a different type of gel who leave it on overnight. But with the 6% overnight would be far too long.

Is it the day white zoom? 30 mins is the min, I usually do 45 for it

@Happygirl79 I don’t feel any sensitivity at all when wearing the tray as I was expecting too. It’s only a little bit sensitive when I take the tray off. But I will stick to the 1.5 hours as he said.

@qwerty222 the people I know who keep it on over night have CP gel and not 6 percent HP I just wasn’t sure if I was doing it right as I had contradictory info in the pack. just wondering do you get saliva in your trays ? dentist told me liquid will destroy HP within minutes but I can’t help getting some in my tray.

@ClientQueen don’t think it’s the day white zoom not sure what that is ? It’s the white dental beauty tooth whitening system
