Any makeup suggestions for concealing bad patch of (blue-grey) hyperpigmentation

If the light catches my face wrongly I look like I’ve been punched beneath the eye Shock

I’m working on reducing the patch with a serum but I want to be able to reduce its appearance with makeup if I can too.

It’s a grey colour mostly (with a hint of blue) rather than that kind of brown melasma I associate with pregnancy (I had it on my upper lip for 2 years!) and it’s right under my eye/start of cheekbone in a kind of shape of Africa Grin

I’m Very fair skinned.

I wear no makeup apart from eyeliner (ie no foundation, tinted moisturiser, concealer etc) as skin is otherwise good.

Any good concealers for this type of thing?! Any other ideas...?

Bobbi Brown corrector is good. It comes in both pinky and peachy tones. For a blue shadow you likely need a peach tone to correct it.

Do you know what is causing the hyperpigmentation? I find wearing sunscreen helps a lot with mine.

Thanks violet! I will try the Bobbi brown. Happy to spend on the right product.

I wear sunscreen (spf 50) but annoyingly I forgot a couple of days in a row recently when it was v sunny and I sit working all day by a sunny window... Angry The new patch is on the side that faces the window. my skin is ridiculously sun-sensitive plus in winter I use retinoids etc so even a rare lapse in sunscreen can do it. Sad
