What does a 16-17 yo girl wear to a wedding?

We have all been invited to a family wedding next month.... it’s bad enough choosing something for me to wear, but I’m really struggling with ideas for DD.
She is very busy with school, sport and music and will leave it to the last minute and say ‘what will I wear?’
Any and all ideas gladly welcomed!

Sorry this isn’t intending to sound rude... but doesn’t she usually dress herself? Or at least have some input in picking her own clothes?

I wouldn’t overthink it to be honest, just a pretty dress would be sufficient. I don’t tend to notice what other wedding guests are wearing unless 1. its particularly spectacular or 2. it’s particularly slutty.

My 14yo niece buys from adult websites now, so maybe get her to browse ASOS and see what styles she likes.

She's essentially an adult, so whatever would be appropriate for adult women in view of the venue and time of day.

Depends on the wedding really, and the girl. Day, Evening ?
