Hi

I actually bought the blue one but keep thinking about the white one. I've asked my children and they each chose a different one!
I am thinking of returning the blue one and going for the white. It's a registry office wedding and after party at the local hall. I'm 37, first marriage if it makes a difference.
I'd appreciate honest opinions on which one looks better or if they both look awful.
Thank you

they are both gorgeous, but I really like the white one. congratulations!

CoffeeBeansGalore · 08/03/2020 20:08

Hi, personally I prefer the white one. 😊

Chilobster · 08/03/2020 20:09

They're both beautiful, and you look lovely. It depende what you're going for. I'd go for the second one as it's more traditionally bridal but if that isnt what you're going for the blue is stunning too.

Willow4987 · 08/03/2020 20:10

White

SparklingGin · 08/03/2020 20:10

White one is beautiful

Mummytea24 · 08/03/2020 20:10

The white one is beautiful

happystory · 08/03/2020 20:11

When is it? I think the blue is lovely for this time of year,

7thlevelofthecandycaneforest · 08/03/2020 20:13

I love both! You have a lovely figure and you have chosen a lovely cut of dress!

katy1213 · 08/03/2020 20:14

I prefer the blue but if you deep-down want the white, then go for it - it's your wedding and it is more bridal.

Wavingwhiledrowning · 08/03/2020 20:18

They're both really lovely, but I'd go for the white. I know it's just one picture, and I can't see all of you, but it looks like you carry yourself differently in it. It's also more bridal, and it is your wedding after all! (I also like the contrast with your hair colour).

Veterinari · 08/03/2020 20:19

Blue

The white one really washes you out. Yes it's more traditional, but the shade does nothing for you

oooompa · 08/03/2020 20:19

I love both of them but prefer the blue, maybe go back and try the white one on again? With the correct bra I think it might look better and sway me to the white 😊

Can I ask if you went to a bridal shop OP or somewhere else for the blue dress? I'm getting married and would love an emerald green dress but I don't know if bridal shops would have this in or if they would all stick to bridal colours? I haven't been to any shops yet as we've only just become engaged!

whirlwinds · 08/03/2020 20:22

Both are beautiful, think leaning to the white rather than the blue though.

Oldname · 08/03/2020 20:25

Thank you so much for your opinions - I'm still stuck!
@oooompa the blue one is from a prom dress shop!

Love both of them, I think the white is more bridal, but its really what you are wanting tbh!

Sulla · 08/03/2020 20:26

Definitely the blue

thequeenbeyondthewall · 08/03/2020 20:26

I like the white one you look beautiful in it

Oldname · 08/03/2020 20:27

Oh and forgot to say I'll be getting a light spray tan if that makes a difference

Awrite · 08/03/2020 20:28

Blue all the way.

FuckingHateRats · 08/03/2020 20:28

The blue is more flattering on you, the waist is slightly too high in the white one IMO and the colour makes it more obvious. Blue is gorgeous.

GrassyGreen · 08/03/2020 20:32

Blue 💙

AnuvvaMuvva · 08/03/2020 20:33

White.

Tartyflette · 08/03/2020 20:33

I think the white one is more flattering on you, it's nicely shaped and emphasises your waist. A light spray tan sounds perfect.
The patterning on the blue one over the bust emphasises your boobs more. Which may be what you want! Wink

HermioneWeasley · 08/03/2020 20:36

Blue one is much nicer. Not as “bridal” obviously, but it’s a much nicer dress, White one looks cheap and doesn’t fit and hang as nicely.

HouseOfCrayCray · 08/03/2020 20:38

I like the blue dress better in terms of design, but think white for the colour as the blue one doesn't look 'bridey'. If the blue dress came in white it'd be perfect lol. Sorry, not helpful really Grin
