Skinceuticals - is it worth it?

I'm 39 and feel like to need to upgrade my skin care to try and combat the ageing

I'm been thinking about trying CE Ferulic for a while but it's mega money

Anyone tried it? Is it worth it? What Skinceuticals products are good?

I've been using a Vitamin C serum for about a decade now and have trialled a fair number of them as it's a difficult thing to formulate well. Of all those the Skinceuticals did give me the best glow and results but I don't think it's worth the price. I use Timeless CE ferulic and will likely be sticking with it (have repurchased several times now) as it's pretty much identical but just didn't give that slight bit of extra oomph that the Skinceuticals does. That bit of oomph, however, isn't worth paying that much more for IMO.

Skinceuticals does a good retinol but you're probably better off moving towards prescription tretinoin if you're interested in an actives routine cheaper and more effective in the long run. The rest of the product line isn't worth paying out the premium for, cleanser is not horribly overpriced though but not sure it's worth it either.

CE Ferulic was recommended to me by about eight years ago and I promised myself that I would treat myself one day...and did, last summer. It did nothing for me and because it ‘goes off’ I threw the remaining two thirds it the bottle just a few weeks ago. Very disappointed.

I have oily skin so I use the skinceuticles serum10. I also use their HA intensifer. They’re very pricey though, but I think they’re worth it. My skin is more even and they haven’t caused me to break out.

My daughter suffers from acne and she uses the phyto corrector, she’s seen some improvement in the redness from her acne scarring.
