About 18 months ago my husband got me a grey backpack from Clarks that I really like.

It's fine for my bits and a few bits for me and 3 year old, but only just. No way it will fit in all the newborn junk too, so I'm looking for recommendations for a vaguely stylish backpack / changing bag I can use.

Needs to fit a water bottle for me and toddler, change of clothes for toddler (toilet training joy), my diabetes medication (fits in 3 compartment pencil case), snacks for me and toddler and then all the baby stuff.

Any ideas? Budget wise up to about £50 but would prefer cheaper!

Would a handbag be an option, because I have an idea

sleepismysuperpower1 · 08/03/2020 16:30

this one might suit?

I have this and I use it constantly. It's large, very nice, and has compartments for things.

I think I'd prefer a backpack style just because of the amount of stuff- find it easier to carry. Really like the Lekebaby one from Amazon

My husband bought me this for Christmas:

It’s a bit over your budget but I love it and have received so many compliments.

eggofmantumbi · 08/03/2020 21:49

Oh that is lovely. Especially the dark green. I may drop some mother's Day hints!

@eggofmantumbi I think you would be ok as you can wear it Xbody, on your shoulder with the strap or handles or in the crook of your arm, so don't rule it out yet.

@ILOVEALLCAKES oh my gosh that is EXACTLY what I need for my commute. Thank you!

eggofmantumbi · 09/03/2020 09:27

That's a good option @mamamalt, thanks!

Off for a mooch around an outlet centre after my hospital appointments this morning, so will see if I can find any bargains ,☺️

No probs! Posted it in a hurry earlier but should say I've got a three yo (Potty trained but emergency clothes always anyway) and a 4 month old so all new baby crap. And it's brilliant. Two water bottles usually a packed lunch and all! V roomy and comfy.

hellcarryingahandbag · 10/03/2020 16:33

Would this be suitable?

eggofmantumbi · 11/03/2020 08:25

I went for the one mamamalt suggested in the end. Arrived yesterday and just weekday I was looking for (of I was rolling in cash I did see some lovely options in the Samsonite outlet though)
Now to get this baby out and start using it! 👍
Thanks for all the suggestions

Just what I was looking for!

Yay! I helped! Best of luck with number 2! I've found it so much easier than being pregnant if that helps! 😁
