Reddish eyebrows 12/18 months after microblading

Reddish as in colour rather than being sore. They were black/brown originally.

Has anyone else had this? Will it fade away as the microblading fades? It's quite annoying...

I think it’s usual due to the pigments and touch ups are usually needed at about the 18 month mark

I have mine retouched every 9 to 12 months and they stay the colour they were when they were first done. 18 months seems like a long time to leave them untouched.

This is entirely normal. As the micro blading fades over time, the red pigment is the last to go. Book yourself in for a top up and they’ll go back to brown again.

Yes mine did this and on the next top up I had a cooler/ashy tone added and this time they are fading a lot more evenly and less red.

Ooh I didn't realise that - I thought they'd just fade away at some point rather than go red. Thank you!

I think it's possibly like hair dye in that the red colour molecules are larger or something so always hang around the longest, so all the brown fades out just leaving the red tones.
