Espadrilles

Thinking I'd like to buy a pair of espadrilles, but wondering if they are actually that comfortable.

Does anyone have an experience? Which brands are comfortable, if any?

Lots on here hate them but I love them. The best brand is castanere from Spain but hobbs usually do a comfortable style. Failing that I've bought cheaper ones from New look before that are fine for one summer.

Castaner espadrilles are so comfy, even the high ones. The platforms are heavy though.

I'm a great fan of lace-up espadrilles as they're much easier to get on and off if you've got wider feet. And very comfortable. I've tended to buy mine in the clothes section of Monoprix, in France - once it gets a bit warmer I'll be digging out the floral chunky soled ones I bought last year!!

I have very widdd Ed feet for wondered if the Castaner ones would be wide enough - any of theirs in particular ? I'm not after a high pair.

One thing I wondered - genuine question - is there a best way to tie the "ribbons"?

I have extremely narrow feet and find Castaners perfect for me so I’m not sure they’d be good for wide feet.
