Spring work jackets!

Talk to me about jackets for spring! It's what I always struggle with. I work in a semi-creative industry full of fashionable people, I tend to dress more towards smart-casual for the office - jeans and nice top or a dress and tights, Chelsea boots or nice trainers. I'm mid-30s and short, average size.

I need a jacket to wear to the office and to various work events (daytime ones). I have no idea what to look at! I quite like the idea of a short mac, or a blazer of some kind. I don't want to look too 'corporate' as that's kind of frowned upon, and don't want something that will look out of place with the rest of my wardrobe.

Please point me in the right direction!

My favourite hunting grounds for this kind of jacket are the H&M group holy trinity of COS (their blazer section here), & Other Stories and Arket. In your industry (mine is similar) lots of people will be buying their jackets from these three. Zara is also very strong in this area - their Chanel "inspired" tweed jackets appear in variations every season, if that's more your style than Scandi.
