Excited for new straightners, please advise.

Had my straightners several years and I don’t think they are heating up properly anymore. Could I please have your recommendations for fine hair that is shoulder length and a little on the thin side. TIA

I recently got Cloud 9s the original ones. I quite like them but they aren't wildly different to my old GHDs. What I like however is that I put them up high when I first straighten my hair after washing it then use them on a lower setting for subsequent days.

Cloud 9s definitely- the new Ghis ones don’t seem to work as well as the old ones - the plates don’t close together as much I think
