Is this any good? I just ordered a sample. If it doesn't suit me at least it won't break the bank :)

I love it! And went on a girls weekend away not long ago and it seemed that everyone had one! 😄

Frownette · 02/03/2020 19:06

That must have been funny when you all got out your compacts!

I'm prob a bit older than you but I'll update on how I find it when it's delivered

I really like it. It’s the best powder especially for a more mature skin. I’m 43.
I have two issues though, wish there were more shades and two it hits pan very quickly!

Purplecatshopaholic · 02/03/2020 20:19

I love it, so fine and light

GlitterToast · 02/03/2020 20:23

Be careful op. There are tons of positive CT threads on here, yet whenever we have threads discussing rubbish beauty products, they're always full of posters slating CT products. It makes me a tad suspicious...

Frownette · 02/03/2020 20:38

It's only a little sample so I won't feel too bad if I don't like it and put it in the bin!

Curious now

I have this and her genius magic powder and find the genius magic wins hands down.

I’m fifty one, and the flawless finish looks fine when you put it on, but if you look in bright or harsh light it looks very powdery.

The genius magic powder by comparison is seriously like some form of magic, it blurs on your skin, has no powdery effect, and a sort of healthy sheen or brightening, but removes all shine.

I’d definitely recommend the magic genius one. To the extent that I keep the flawless one as nothing more than a touch up if required, which means is basically unused in my handbag.

Oh and I’m a regular poster, as many will vouch, I don’t work for them and have nothing to gain from posting. Just simply i have these products and the genius magic is my go to now, the flawless I find dulls my skin and is powdery.

SouthWestmom · 02/03/2020 22:40

Haha I've literally just AS the posters to see if they are some kind of cat bit and didn't bother with Bluntness !

Although now I'm going to try the magic powder. I love the magic cream and the highlighter. Haven't tried the powder so can't help op.

SouthWestmom · 02/03/2020 22:40

Cat bit 😂 CT bot obviously

knorrig · 02/03/2020 22:47

I use it and love it but annoying it doesn’t come with an applicator!
It’s a pressed powder though so not sure how it would come as a sample?

Frownette · 02/03/2020 23:15

No I did wonder that - it's basically a feel unique deal, you get 5 samples from different brands.

I got hair oil, perfume, meso-mask (?! Sp) which I've used before and really like, a facial oil and this CT thing.

It's beauty box sizes but I thought it would be a bit of fun trying them all. I've been ill recently so would like a pick me up.

I’m 44 and prefer the flawless, though it is rather powdery under very bright light but I think it sort of stops any shine but doesn’t stop glow.
The magic I can’t even get out of the bloody container and I end up looking like I’ve dipped myself in grease - I have an oily T zone but dry cheeks/forehead.
I’m giving up on CT, sadly, after living some thing (wonder glow and especially youth glow)

Frownette · 07/03/2020 19:23

Right I received it yesterday:

The sample is packaged like a giant, gold minstrel (baby version, basically).

I like it, I think it's good, but I wouldn't buy full size at that price.

It's got staying power and blends in but I'm not used to such a matte finish :)

The samples were worth trying, though I was getting annoyed with feel unique as they are slow with delivery. One working day my feather duster, it took them three to hand over to courier

The sample service is good, though it was even better before they fixed the glitch in vouchers where you could use your 3.95 voucher to pay for your next batch of samples. I had a good few months' worth and paid nothing at all. Ah well. It's a nice little treat. Latest in Beauty is also good when they have deals on for subscriptions. You get to pick your own on that too but generally it's bigger sizes.
