Hi all,
I have a family event coming up, and I'm wearing navy blue with blush pink accents. I've already got my scarf, but I need: A blush pink clutch (preferably with a chain strap)
A navy blazer/cardigan/some sort of coat/jacket size 8 or 10
Navy cigarette trousers or similar (size 8 or 10)
Thanks in advance,
Hellcarryingahandbag Flowers

Oops, didn't mean the vote!

Also, I'm aware a cardigan isn't a coat or jacket, but I would have no problem with a cardigan.

@FredAndChips, thanks so much, I'll consider thatFlowers

That link is for the taupe one, but you can change the colour. Sorry, i've got my sunday brain on 😂

dontgobaconmyheart · 01/03/2020 15:14

I'd consider having this moved to the style and beauty board OP, they're great there.

hellcarryingahandbag · 01/03/2020 15:14

@FredAndChips, I could probably get away with either as the taupe has a pink tone. Thanks

@dontgobaconmyheart good idea, but there's not much traffic there.

A navy coatigan (cross between a coat and a cardigan)

An alternative suggestion on the blush bag:

I just got a beautiful shimmery blush pink box clutch from Dune, for my wedding last month. Mine’s sold out, but here are some others:

This one is cute, and at a reduced price:

Or rose gold might work nicely:

There are more - I just linked to a few.

Thanks @Ninkanink!

What have you actually got so far? Do you mean you have a top that's navy with blush pink and the rest is to go with that, if so can you show us?

hellcarryingahandbag · 01/03/2020 16:49

I've already got a scarf, which I linked too.

I think a cream top or blouse would be good to lighten the outfit if trousers and blazer are navy.

Ninkanink · 01/03/2020 16:58

Although, navy trousers and jacket/blazer/cardigan could look a little worky...might be better off with a taupe, blush pink or cream jacket.

hellcarryingahandbag · 01/03/2020 17:02

I'm determined to have navy blue with blush pink accessories... I'm not worried about the top underneath as I'm trying to focus on the blazer, trousers and bag. Thanks for your help

Oh it’s a lovely combo! One of my favourites actually.

Ok so top doesn’t matter. Have you got shoes already? They’re not on your list so I imagine you do.

What sort of budget have you got for each item? Or to spend on everything all together?
