Shirt and Tie - 11 year old

Can anyone suggest some shirts and ties that my 11 year old son might like to wear to look smart sometime? Went out for my bday the other evening and he said he'd really love a shirt and a tie for these sort of occasions (we NEVER get dressed up - this is just something he'd really like to get into).

I have looked at Debenhams online and a quick scan helps me confirm that I seriously have zero clue what would suit an 11 year old who wants to dress in this way.

Has anyone got any leads that I could show him in the morning?

I have girls so not an expert, but I think young teen boys look gorgeous in formal-ish shirts and waistcoats, no tie.
