Eternity ring alternative

DH wants to get me an eternity ring for my 50th/ our 20 wedding anniversary, which is lovely, but I'm not sure I want one, given that the ones we've looked at so far seem a bit naf. I wear bracelets and earrings far more than rings so wonder if that might be a better buy? Any advice - or links to rings that are a bit less mainstream v welcome!

What is it you don’t like about eternity rings? (Not being nippy - just wondering so people can maybe suggest suitable alternatives)

I had an eternity ring made for me - designed it myself. It doesn’t have stones the whole way around but has 4 stones which represent our 4 DC with some different smaller stones in between them.

I also have the DC’s names engraved inside the ring. For us it symbolised the completion of our family hence the significance of our DC

What is naf about the rings you have seen? Without knowing what you don't like about them, it is impossible to suggest alternatives. I can't see how an eternity ring would be any more or any less inherently naf than any other ring or piece of jewellery.
