This is a transcript of your experience with Mullberry;
My parcel was due to be delivered by DPD on Tuesday. My Husband dashed home to be there to sign for the parcel at the allotted delivery time. No delivery driver turned up at the allotted time so my Husband left to go to a meeting. On returning home he found a missed delivery card from the Post Office and wrongly assumed this was the parcel from Mulberry. The following day he collected the parcel from the Post Office. When I returned home on Wednesday evening I opened the parcel and discovered it was not the Mulberry delivery. I checked my emails and the message from DPD clearly stated that the parcel had been delivered by Bhandal and signed for by Dendle. This was clearly not the case. Given the value of the parcel I was extremely concerned. I contacted DPD and after waiting for half an hour for them to answer the phone I was advised that the parcel had been delivered and signed for by Dendle. I explained this was not the case and was advised this would immediately be investigated and I would receive a call between 9 and 10 the next day. No call was ever made by DPD.
In a bit of a panic given the value of the parcel I cancelled my dinner arrangements and spent the next 2 hours contacting my immediate neighbours, searching gardens and even driving to number 11 Cambridge Road to try and locate the parcel.
My property is covered by Security cameras so we then checked these. You can quite clearly see the Driver in the drive of the unoccupied house next door at the allotted delivery time! I searched the property next door and couldn’t find the parcel in any of the outhouses however when I went round to the front of the property I discovered a soggy cardboard box outside the front door with no shelter and visible from the road. So the Driver had never been to my property, the parcel had not been signed for and had been left out in the elements with the potential that a passer-by could have picked it up at any time. Fortunately for Mulberry the bag was not damaged despite the severe weather (bit of a miracle).
