Facials?!

I really want to sort my skin out. My main problem is dryness and redness.

I’m so overwhelmed with the different types of facials available. A lot of them seem to be branded? Can anyone tell me where to start? Do I need microdermabrasion? Do I need dermaplaning? Do I just need a face transplant?

Would love to get to the stage I can one day go make up free Grin

Thanks.

Facials can be branded as beauticians sell the brands and have to apply to be able to sell - they have a certain exclusivity and the brand wants them to promote their stuff so may train them on a certain type of facial using their lotions and potions.
Word of mouth is the best way to find a good beautician. Once you find one explain what you need help with. Half of it is the relaxation pampering bit, the other half is getting lovely skin.
It will help but won't cure. You may need a dermatologist if you have real concerns beyond the surface.

It sounds like you would benefit from a consultation. I did one where they do a scan of your face and you through the ingredients of products your using, and then recommend a treatment.

The difficulty is in finding the right place to go. I would be wary of chains and brand led places, as they can be very hard sell like. Try and find an independent with good reviews who isn't too cheap.

I would stay away from microdermabrasion (unless advised overwise) if your suffering from redness.
