I'm looking at a foundation - not expensive and I'd like a flawless finish. Thanks in advance!

@dayslikethese1 I'm pink toned pale too and I got the shade Nude Beige in the Primark foundation. There wasn't many colours to choose from. It's quite thick and heavy yes and although it's oil free I found it to feel quite waxy and it gave me under-skin spots so had to give up on it Sad

Do any of the cheaper ones do really pale shades? I got colour matched to the palest shade of Boots No7 but it’s still too dark, looks horrible, greyish orange!

NYX do a few that are almost white. They don't look quite so pale in the bottle, but when you apply them - Caspar! £15 so not as cheap as eg Rimmel, but worth it if it gets you the right shade.

Try Flower Beauty Light Illusion £12 Superdrug, Drew Barrymore's brand

I like the Revlon one. I am warmer than you and can use the Ivory or Buff shade. However I think Ivory is the palest and obvs Ivory should be a warm colour not pink but off white. However if you want a pale pink shade loo to a French make up company. They tend to do pink more. Say Lancome or even L'oreal.

CYO from Boots, very good and not over expensive

Primark, but not the glass bottle one, the squeezy bottle one, it's called Perfect Finish I think. It's £2.50 and is the best foundation I have ever used. It goes on really nicely, gives a lovely finish and, most importantly doesn't make me look like a corpse in flash photos (looking at you Double wear!) It's medium coverage but buildable.

It's the bollocks!

slinkysaluki · 02/03/2020 13:02

Keep saying it but Primark Perfect Finish foundation in a tube. Costs £2.50 and is one of the best ive
used

Yes slinkysaluki that's the one I use too, it's unbelievably good! I think the design font etc might vary slightly in different stores as some of mine are a bit different (I have different shades as they are so cheap!) but it's the same foundation. It's just brilliant!

Revolution foundations are great
