What colour hair could suit me?

Completely natural hair but feel like I need to live a little and try something different. Picture should give an idea of skin/eye colour. What colour would suit me? Really like the copper colours, but are they best with blue eyes?

I think a copper colour would really suit you!!Smile

Dirty blonde or ginger

Ryantrain · 27/02/2020 02:57

No lots of nice coppers with brown eyes!

Toomanygerbils · 27/02/2020 02:59

I would go ginger with blonde highlights

Lardlizard · 27/02/2020 05:05

Nothing too far so ginger r blonde

lovelyjubbly40 · 27/02/2020 06:41

Thank you. So maybe a few highlights/low lights of blonde/copper/gold do you think? Not a block colour?

Go ginger, well copper. I did about 5 years ago after years of switching colours. I love it. Just dye it myself.

Go to a reputable hairdresser and have a consultation. It's not the colour, it's the tone of it you need to get correct for your skin tone.
That way you can try all different shades.
Best of luck x

Your hair colour and complexion is similar to mine.

DIY: I've used a variety of Nice 'N Easy auburn dyes which tend to give a similar colour but more vibrancy. They do lighter and darker ones, and you can see how much it would lighten or darken by from the pics on the back. I tend to go for a slightly darkerning one in winter and lighting one in winter. The colours tend to be so similar to my natural colour that I don't have to worry about roots, I just top up when I feel it lost it's vibrancy as red as dye wears out, a red shampoo/conditioner will help keep it for longer although some may stain your towels.

BTW do not use Head and Shoulders on red dyed hair, it stripped it out and left me orange!

PRO: The best hair I've ever had was when I got mine done professionally, a mix between highlights and balayage, going from a dark red/auburn to blond at the tips. It was amazing but took 3 hours!

@abstractprojection ah that's exactly what I have been thinking about having done. I'm just have no idea where to go. There no really good salons near me.

abstractprojection · 27/02/2020 16:38

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion I'm afraid i got mine done when in Croatia and it was only 50 euros! So I can't recommend anywhere, but I think most places as long as they have a colourist would be fine.

I showed them a picture, and they then helped me pick out colours
