GHD hair straighteners alternatives

Hi, my beloved 8 years old GHD straightener died yesterday and I’m looking for an alternative that doesn’t involve having to pay almost £200 quid on a new one.

Are there any hopes? Are there equivalent and cheaper brands out there that do a good job without ruining your hair or taking twice the time to heat up/do the same job?

I have longish (above the breasts, but below shoulder length) hair, very full, wavy and frizzy and the GHD used to make it looks amazingly flowy and frizz free. I absolutely loved it! It heated up very quick and I could do my entire hair in 5-10 minutes.

Any recommendations, please??

I have Cloud 9s, I’ve had them ages so I don’t know how much they cost now. They heat up v quickly.

I have a pair of Corioliss I have had them years and love them, I found them so much better than the GHD's they replaced.

Not straightening irons but I invested in a dyson hair dryer and I just blow dry it and I don't need to use my ghd's anymore. It makes it as smooth as the ghd's did.

I have the same left hand type of hair as you op.

Length! Not left hand hair

Remington S8590 Keratin Therapy Pro Straightener are good, I had Remington for years and they were as good as GHDs (and lasted longer)

Kipozi off Amazon. Brilliant straighteners.

Another vote for cloud 9s

Amen to Cloud 9s! If you happen to know (or are) a student, they do a decent student discount IIRC

I've also got Corioliss, which have lasted years. The temperature is adjustable up to I think 230°, they heat up quickly and leave hair lovely and shiny and straight.
