Full head tint

I don’t want the salon to think that I don’t have a clue so could someone tell me what the benefits of a full head tint are?

I have brown hair with quite a few greys which are getting more noticeable than I’m used to so I’m getting a bit conscious of them now. Would a tint cover them or not? And does it wash out rather than grow out? I don’t want to drastically change the colour of my hair so would it be beneficial or am I better off with full foils?

A full head tint will cover all your hair and will grow out. If you go to a good colourist and explain your concerns they should advise you without judgement! After all, you pay them for their expertise.

Once you go down the full head tint route it’s very difficult to go back.

A full head tint will cover greys and not wash out BUT it does mean as greys grow in they're quite obvious if you have dark hair.

I loved having dark brown hair but I've had to go lighter as I get more greys, otherwise I'd be at the hairdresser every month, which I can't afford to do as it's £££££, so now I get a dark brown tint with lighter brown highlights, which makes the greys less noticeable and lets them blend in a bit more.
