DS red and patchy skin Help please

DS (adult) has red and patchy skin on his face. He also suffers thick scale on his scalp (psoriasis?). It’s been sporadic in the past but seems to me to be more permanent now.

I think it’s worse with stress and alcohol (he’s definitely allergic to white wine), and better in the sun, but it’s hard to raise it because he’s quite sensitive about it. In the past if he has asked for moisturiser and I’ve offered anything I have that’s unperfumed. He is also allergic to some sunscreens.

Can anyone suggest any facial cream I can offer him? I can’t imagine he would go to the GP

MooGoo Eczema and Psoriasis Cream is the only thing that has helped my partner who has very similar sounding issues.

My dp had something similar and La Roche Posay Lipikar Baulme AP+ really cleared it up, more than the cream he was given by his GP.

CeraVe cream and Selsun shampoo once every couple of weeks with Vosene original in between.

Thank you all, I will check what shampoo he is using currently

Will it be a case of recurring if you stop using these?
