Why I am ditching Gap! Grrrr!

Gap used to be the place buy good quality Tshirts. 100% cotton, soft, long enough, didn't shrink, thick (couldn't see bra through). The holy grail.

Today however I have received a pack of 5 tshirts which are: too small, too short, too thin (you could spit peas through them, as my mother would say) and RIBBED! (not clear from website).

I am not one to bother to return clothes bought online just because they are not 100% but congratulations Gap, I'm going to the effort to return this rubbish to you.

The website is also awful to use (things constantly popping up and pulling down so you can't see what you're doing) but I persisted thinking it would be worth it.

Very disappointing. M&S tshirts are nice and thick but SHRINK terribly! The hunt for the perfect tshirt must recommence. Sigh.

They have been awful quality for a while. I’m surprised they are still in business. Go to Uniqlo for staples, they are by far the best quality for the money.

Watching with interest.

I'm also on the lookout for long sleeved cotton jersey/viscose tops, particularly patterned ones, to layer up for work.

For short sleeved nice material/quality these are good. Smart Tshirt from Warehouse

They still have some good quality items but they also have some crappy ones. You need to be able to go to a store in order to have a feel.

I used to really like their featherweight cotton long sleeved T shirts but the ones I got this year are rubbish.

Next don’t seem bad for short sleeved T shirts this year but I’m reserving judgement until they’ve been through the wash a few times.
