Sleep bra/crop top recommendations

I like sleeping in a crop/bra type top that isn’t an actual bra, at the moment I’m still wearing my seven year old nursing bras because they are comfy but I really ought to bin them.

Is there anything out there that would fit the bill? I don’t want to spend loads, literally about a fiver but I want them to be cotton, relatively supportive, not with a clasp or zip or itchy mesh type. Is there any suggestions?

Primark do sports bra type ones with removable cups but I've not tried them. I wear ones from the £ shop - fine apart from being synthetic.

I sleep in Marielle bras (actually crop tops) from Amazon. Very cheap, comfortable and give some support even to my H cups.

Following! Don't normallly need one, but currently pregnant and boobs have expanded a lot!!

I just think it's nicer when I'm pottering about in my jimjams.

Playdoughbum · 24/02/2020 21:32

Also a Marielle fan. Enough support for pottering round the house and stopping them flailing all over the bed at night. You can double them up too and there are tons of colours. Not cotton though- I’ve never found anything suitable in cotton.

Not particularly sexy but I wear these from Sainsbury's to sleep in. Very comfy.

I wear something very similar to Tiggy but from Asda. Cheap as chips and washes well.

WeeM · 24/02/2020 22:24

I got one in primark which is a nice soft type material, not cotton though.

Mamia15 · 24/02/2020 22:48

I get mine from e bay.

Jessie9323 · 24/02/2020 23:00

Asda do some, I got them when I was pregnant but wore them after as well. Thin crop top ideal for any bust I'd say, I'm a 34HH and they don't feel restrictive

The only thing that put me off those Marielle bras is that they’re polyester but actually yes as someone said above, cotton isn’t that supportive is it. I’m only an E so don’t exactly need or want them strapping down but they’ve gone a bit saggy of late and I don’t like the look when I’m bra-less.

I will give the amazon ones a go I think! Great recommendations thank you!

I don't normally find them at all supportive (38F) but got the ones from Primarni - ok but I washed one in machine (did not tumble dry) but had to move cups around afterwards as one was on top of the other!!!

Fallsballs · 25/02/2020 21:36

I ordered a set of three of the Marielle from Amazon recommended here on a previous thread about larger sizes...they’re actually ok and I wear two together round the house in different shades of purple ! I can also do yoga at home in them, very comfortable.

LadyMadderRose · 25/02/2020 21:40

Tu at Sainsbury's has lots - they're not always cotton but some usually are. Also some are more supportive than others so you can find what suits you.

chouxfleur · 25/02/2020 21:42

Yep, I buy Sainsbury's ones too.

Defo recommend the Marielle ones, they came yesterday and super comfy with my pjs and surprisingly good support and shape- soooo much better than my grotty old nursing bras!! Hurrah! Very glad I asked on here 👍🏻
