Hi, I’m going on a work trip to the Ivory Coast next month and will be doing a lot of walking in the bush as part of the visit. Temperatures will be high thirties, very humid and lots of biting insects! Please help me out with what to wear! I’m a pear shape- size 12 on top, 16 on bottom. Don’t have to look professional for work or anything, comfort first on this occasion!

Calm down.... I am the mosquito's dream food and really didn't suffer there. Usual hygiene precautions obviously, but lightweight, lightcoloured but covered from ankle to neck should see you right. Take lots of loose light stuff. don't think you''ll buy it locally (you won't as it isn't for sale).

Go to a proper outdoor shop like blacks. You need some adventure sandals for walking in, possibly boots too and some trousers that zip into shorts. Unless you have very dark skin T-shirts are better than vests to protect your skin from the sun. You need a couple of long sleeved shirts to put over the top in the evenings for bug protection. And don't forget a good hat and sunglasses.
Your trip sounds amazing have fun
