My skin is looking awful at the moment, what ever foundation and primer I use, I can still see my uneven skin/pores.
What recommendations do you all have for primers?

I've used benefit pearl primer. That's my favourite. It's quite pricy, though.

Watching with interest. I’m 47 and I haven’t found the perfect primer yet. Quite like Max Factor Miracle Prep or This Works in transit camera close up; but always looking for a better product. Also haven’t found the perfect foundation after the one I loved got discontinued...

It's really getting me down, how poor my skin looks.

I use dermalogica skin perfect primer with spf. I love it.

I really like the Aldi Lacura primer - it's a dupe of the smashbox primer and price is fab.

Nivea men's sensitive post shave balm (NOT the cooling one) is brilliant and very cheap.

My all time favourite though is Becca Backlight Priming Filter, not cheap but you only need a tiny amount and it lasts ages, but the difference it makes is astounding.
It gives a very natural look, and can be worn without makeup/mixed with moisturiser, but it takes my skin to a whole new level, film star skin in a bottle.

I have also been trialling the Becca over the Nivea, which also works well.

Oh yes, and neither contain silicones as they break me out badly.
