Evolving my make up

I've just realised that I've been wearing the same make up since my twenties. I'm 44 this year and think it's time for an update. It's not the 90s anymore for a start!

How do I learn what to do? Should I buy a make up lesson and if so, where? MAC? or is there a YouTube person I should be watching? Help!

I've visited Space NK today, they're really good. I'm 42 but started going a few years ago. They colour match you and talk you through what different products do. It's a free consolation and I'm always really happy with what they suggest. I find the make up lasts a long time so it's worth spending a bit more.

Hannah Martin is very good. I also like Lisa Eldridge.

I would highly recommend Bobbi Brown. Great for more mature skin, and lots of lovely products.

Highly recommend YSL, there foundation is absolutely fantastic, light and doesnt need a heavy setting powder.

Do Bobbi Brown and YSL do lessons? I definitely need some sort of intervention!

Robert Welch on Instagram is excellent

Yes, you can pay for a tutorial at Bobbi Brown where they help you pick colours and show you how to apply and then I think the price for thT goes toward products as well (I’ve never done it but I think that’s how it works).

Hannah Martin used to work for Bobbi Brown (she’s freelance now) and her YouTube tutorials are great for learning to do easy looks with their products.

I was going to say BB too. Very natural
