Hair care for hair in an average condition?

I have long dark hair - lots of grey so have to dye it regularly. Tend to go for a root touch up and a toner throughout. My hair is generally straight with a bit of a wave in it.
How do I get it from looking average to fabulous and glossy?? I don’t think I need Olaplex or anything like that as it’s not particularly that damaged.

A home remedy to make your hair glossy that I aware by is
1 egg
A glass of mink
2tablespoons of olive oil
And a squeeze of lemon
Mix all together and use after washing your hair. Put all over and leave for 5 mins. Give amazing shine
