I've been using a Lumea since the summer, all fine. Turned it on tonight, after shaving as usual before, and it gave what I can only describe as a really high intensity zap which made me jump back, skin tingling like a burn.
Hubby then tried it on his arm and the same thing. I obviously won't be using it again and will contact John Lewis as it's still under guarantee.
Anyone else experienced anything like this? I'd be really wary about using one again, it had been working fine (and I was pleased with the results) but tonight's zap to my bikini line has well and truly put me off!
