Seriously moisturising conditioner?

My hair is like straw!
Elasticiser makes it soft and fluffy.
The Argan oil stuff works for a bit, but the day after it’s vile again.
Curly girl works ok in summer but it takes ages to dry so I have to dry it a bit in winter. Also tends to leave it manky underneath for some reason.
Wavy/curly thick hair. Hit me with your ultimate moisturisers.

I wish they'd bring back Silkience! It was magnificent and had a wonderful scent

Body shop banana conditioner.
Lush retread conditioner.

Playdoughbum · 21/02/2020 19:12

Ok I’ll look at the lush one.
Don’t think I can face bananas cos if the smell - but if it’s seriously amazing I might hold my nose and try it.

I have thick wirey hair since it's gone grey (white) I've just started using Cantu, bought it in superdrug, buy one het one half price. Best thing I've used in a long time, makes my hair feel really soft

Playdoughbum · 21/02/2020 19:29

Does the Cantu smell nice?
Which one?

I get on very well with the Superdrug coconut Water hair masque (curly hair but probably finer rather than thick)

What colour is your hair? The Plantur 39 Brun one has made an enormous difference to my hair, it’s given it the glossy feel I’ve tried to get for years. However if you don’t have brown or dark hair It won’t be ideal.

I always use the red Elvive coloured hair conditioner - it works without weighing your hair down. It's a good cheap end conditioner. If you want to spend a bit more then I vote for Olaplex.

Hair is salt and pepper.

Pureology hydrate -its lilac/ purple bottles ita lovely, started using it a few months ago and cant imagine using anything different. I'm naturally dark brown but with bleached balayaged ends and this actually makes my hair feel and look so soft. I adore it.

I have dry,curly, coloured hair.

I am a recent convert to soul and soap solid shampoo. This is fantastic and leaves my hair clean, bouncy and moisturised with no residue. I let it sit for a minute or so for best results. I then finish off with a light weight natural conditioner such as green people.
