Are they ok? They’re very comfortable at least but I don’t know what’s stylish anymore! Comfort is the priority though.

I think they’re fine!

HermioneWeasley · 20/02/2020 21:55

They are fine. Florida demands comfort over everything else - everyone is in comfy footwear. Are you sure they won’t rub when your feet are swollen?

Halfcharged · 21/02/2020 06:26

Thanks both. I don’t know, there’s no way of making my feet swell to test them out! I’m breaking them in around the house although they don’t seem to rub anywhere. I’ve got some trainers as backup.

Bring plasters for friction, or you can get patches of stuff called moleskin in the footcare section of any drugstore when you're there..

The sandals look good for Florida. Don't worry about style. (But having said that, the Birkenstock look is nice).

peachypetite · 21/02/2020 07:08

Not stylish at all...do you care though?

Passthecake30 · 21/02/2020 07:10

Look good to me. I'd take a couple of pairs as they might get wrecked.

TheMammothHunters · 21/02/2020 07:13

If you’re doing theme parks you need comfort and quick drying over anything else. No one cares about appearance!

edgewater · 21/02/2020 07:13

Yes they are good. I just wore trainers. Skechers are Comfy.

Take blister plasters.

BrightonBB · 21/02/2020 07:17

My only advice is alternate your footwear - you’ll have awful tan/sunburn lines if you wear the same ones all the time and remember sunscreen your feet too.

OverByYer · 21/02/2020 07:27

They’re nice but to be honest I wore trainers to the theme parks as did pretty much everyone else. Style goes completely out of the window. Have a great time

As a back up resort there is a shop out there in Disney springs called sanuk, they make these amazing flip flops that are so comfy and we're a complete life saver. The straps are made from cotton so no rubbing and the bases are made from like a memory foam padding. I've been back a few times now and got a collection as they're so comfy, the best trainers I've brought are toms lace up trainers if in need of a little more support. We do Disney every few years so footwear is always a must x

fantasmasgoria1 · 21/02/2020 07:34

They are so so but it's not a nice colour. So perhaps a different colour.

PineappleDanish · 21/02/2020 07:37

I bought a pair of these last summer on a Mumsnet recommendation and they are amazing.

Wore them last summer in France in very high temperatures and they stood up to long days sightseeing in Paris and Versailles. Can stick them in the washing machine. They were SO comfortable that I bought a second pair for our trip to Florida this summer.

okiedokieme · 21/02/2020 07:39

Look good to me, I'm tempted to buy some!

Halfcharged · 21/02/2020 11:55

Thanks for all the tips, making a mental note of them all!

If anyone does want to but the ones in my op, shop around as I got them for £20.

I wore Saltwaters every day last year, so comfy and looked pretty. I definitely think sandals are the way to go over trainers, much less sweaty and less scope for blisters.

Apolloanddaphne · 21/02/2020 12:10

They are perfect for Florida. It is comfort over style all the way.

gingersausage · 21/02/2020 12:28

Those Clarks ones look good @PineappleDanish but quite narrow. Do they stretch a lot?

Christmas456 · 21/02/2020 12:35

I think they look good and comfy. When we went to Florida I wore a pair of Havainas that go around your heel as well. Sort of like sandal flip flops. I didn't plan to wear them every day but they were so comfy and were great at drying really quickly during the inevitable torrential rain that seems to appear out of no where!

Helpmyhair2019 · 21/02/2020 12:36

What are the name of the ones in the op so I can shop around? Thank you!

ZoeandChandon · 21/02/2020 12:36

I wore Sketchers for comfort, doing 20,000 odd steps a day, comfort definitely needed.

wanderwonderwanderwonder · 21/02/2020 12:37

I just take birkenstocks and trainers, fine

goldenorbspider · 21/02/2020 12:38

I'm picturing white dad at a bbq with socks

EmmaGrundyForPM · 21/02/2020 12:39

They are ugly but look comfortable. Like most of the sandals I wear. Comfort over style when walking any distance

GeraltOfRiviaIsMyCat · 21/02/2020 12:49

This anti-blister stick is really effective
