How to know baby is okay at 16 weeks

Just been so paranoid recently had my scan at 12 weeks and everything was fine, but I just keep getting scared weather the baby is okay or not. All my symptoms are fine but its just that thought how do I put my mind at ease? My next scan is 1 month away

You've posted in style and beauty, you could ask for the post to be moved to pregnancy.

But to answer your question, if you think there is something wrong, see your midwife. If you've no reason, you will see in 4 weeks, which isn't long to wait. You don't want to have more scans than necessary.

This is normal if you’re prone to anxiety. I found pregnancy a really anxious time. Maybe it’s a good time to try some meditation- the headspace app is good. Would help in labour too. It’s hard to put your mind at ease. But you have no grounds to worry. As you say everything is fine.

I'm not in the UK so I'm not sure if the options are the same but can you pay for a scan privately if you really feel you need it just to put your mind at ease?

Do you have a 16 week midwife appointment? You could share your concerns with the midwife and that might help. If you had a healthy 12 week scan chances are all is fine so try not to worry. You could always get a private reassurance scan too. I had a gender scan at 17 weeks mainly because I was a bit worried and had to wait until 23 weeks for my next scan (they do them later where I am) and it helped me relax a bit and found out the sex too which was a nice bonus!
