Can anyone recommend any teeth whitening strips that work well? I've been looking at ones in Boots but not sure which to get. Thanks.

The QVC todays special value is this so if you're thinking of it buy these ones as if you don't like them/don't think they work then you can return them used with no quibble Smile

Can you get someone to bring you Crest White Strips from the US? They’re not legally sold in UK because the hydrogen peroxide concentration is too high. Anything from
Boots is likely to be a waste of money because of this.

ktjb39 · 19/02/2020 22:03

Thanks so much I've actually ordered the QVC ones, nobody to bring any from US but will bear that in mind as it sounds like they are better.

Lauriefairycake - my QVC delivery arrived yesterday. It seemed a bit weird having them on for 1 hour (I did it just before dinner time - not the best idea!). It seemed ok. I think I may have noticed very slight change to top teeth. Bottom still very stained but then it has only been one day!

I’ve bought some Crest ones today and am sitting here with the strips on and a flannel in my mouth to soak up the saliva as I’m dribbling and they’re coming off. I’ve got 15 mins to go!!

ShyTown · 24/02/2020 20:21

Weird as this sounds, they stick much better if you dry your teeth with the flannel first!

Paperdolly · 24/02/2020 20:25

I did but I’m salivating because these are in my mouth.

LaurieFairyCake · 24/02/2020 21:17

Oh that's good 👍🏻

Paperdolly · 24/02/2020 21:40

LaurieFairyCake. What’s good about dribbling? 😂

After 30 mins I’ve taken them out. I have to do this for 2 more days.

earsup · 24/02/2020 23:56

Are they working..??...can you see any difference..??..I have some but yet to try them out...please update.

Housewife2010 · 25/02/2020 10:27

I've used Crest White Strips before. They are excellent. The drooling does stop once you get used to them. I used to wear them on my commute.

Deux · 25/02/2020 10:36

You can buy the Crest White strips if you are in the UK. They’ll be sent to you from the UK but the business will be registered overseas and the transaction registered there so getting past the peroxide %.

Try somewhere like UK Teeth Whitening.

Rupertpenrysmistress · 25/02/2020 10:47

I am using the Beverly Hills black is white strips. Agree you need to dry your gums it is very weird. I have noticed a difference after 3 days, initially my teeth had white patches so I panicked brushed my teeth and applied the whitening pen and they look much whiter. Very pleased.

Paperdolly · 25/02/2020 16:41

Update: on the first go I haven’t noticed a change ( I’m number 18 depth of stain to begin. I know... disgusting! Tea, chocolate and red wine 🙄). I’m doing them tonight and tomorrow night and I should be 15 by the 3rd time.

Paperdolly · 25/02/2020 16:43

I got them from Superdrug by the way. On offer I think at the moment.

MrsTHardy · 25/02/2020 16:47

Have you seen that teeth whitening hack by Davinia Taylor on insta? Uses baking powder, hydrogen peroxide and then a specific whitening toothpaste

Paperdolly · 25/02/2020 17:47

Don’t use hydrogen peroxide!!! It’ll burn your mouth!!!! 😳

Deux · 25/02/2020 19:20

For the love of God, don’t try to mix your own whitening solution at home. High risk of damaging your mouth and teeth.

MrsTHardy · 25/02/2020 19:30

@Paperdolly @Deux Relax. It’s pharmacy grade and purchased 6% hydrogen peroxide which can be used as mouthwash which she’s using. Try looking and reading before you jump all over it.

Abraid2 · 25/02/2020 19:32

I use hydrogen peroxide and have never burned my mouth. Just take reasonable care.

anothernewone · 25/02/2020 20:41

I just order the Crest ones from Crest is best. Mine are towie white 😂😂

Paperdolly · 25/02/2020 22:31

I’ve just had the second go. I didn’t keep the flannel in all the time this time and just used it to dab the saliva and push parts of the strips back on. I believe they are brightening but I haven’t tried them against the chart yet. Last one tomorrow!

CtrlU · 25/02/2020 22:42

@anothernewone

Where do you buy your crest strips please hun?

anothernewone · 26/02/2020 10:26

@CtrlU I use crest is best- they always come up on my fb. Worth noting they count each strip (top and bottom) as one, so for 7 days you need 14 strips and take a few days to arrive but not had any probs.

I usually get 7 days worth every 6/12 month as I can't lay off the coffee

Lifeaback · 26/02/2020 10:32

Crest strips are the only ones that I’ve ever found to work- and I’ve tried most of the boots ones. They aren’t cheap due to import tax but you can order them online, I think the website I used was called ‘ukteethwhitening’ or something
