MAC Studio Fix or Double Wear?

I love the full coverage, velvety look but recently double wear hasn't been doing this for me as it seems to wear off by the end of the day - is it a new formula?

I don't want to waste a fortune on other foundations only for them not to be as good. Is studio fix a good alternative to DW?

Studio fix is lovely - I converted about ten years ago from double wear! It's not as thick but it is buildable.

I do think the DW formula has changed,it's nowhere near as full coverage as it used to be but ime still the best out there even though I need to alter it with lightening drops as the shades are a bit weird.

If you try the Mac can you update please OP with a comparison to the DW?

Do you mean SF liquid or the SF powder foundation?

I prefer the DW to the SF Liquid but prefer the SF Powder Foundation for day to day. I use DW for an evening with a primer and loose powder for a prettier look than the SF. I use the SF everyday as it’s so quick to apply!

Should say other fuller coverage foundations I like are Make Up Forever HD foundation and La Prairie Caviar Foundation (beautiful but V pricey). I’m late 30s, combination skin.

Is it Mac SF powder plus, I switched from double wear to the SF liquid, it's fantastic only issue is you have to buy pump separately but EL one packaging is much better.

Oh I forgot I think both don't have the pump, but Mac one leaks easily in my purse for some reason.
