Glycolic acid

Has anyone tried glycolic acid products? Did it work and does it take a while? I have Superdrug Naturally Radiant overnight peel and I'm not sure if it's doing anything but maybe I'm not doing it right...

Yes but not an overnight peel, just the toner tonic (pixi). For me it has entirely eliminated my spotty chin that was particularly bad during my period.

How long have you been using it for and how often are you using it? I find glycolic dries my skin out a bit too much but a lot of people swear by it.

I'm using the Ren glycolic face mask. It's lovely and my skin feels great. Leaves it smooth and glowing. Have previously used Pixie glow tonic which was ok. Really liked the Aldi Pixie dupe but it didn't agree with my skin.

I've only used pixie glow tonic, send have a Danish glycolic acid toner to try when this finishes. When i first started using it i noticed an improvement, so i keep using it, but it's minor so i may stop at some point.

I've only been using it 2-3 weeks, instructions say 1-3x a week. I now seem to have some red spots by my nose which I necee normally get but I dont know if this is related. Cant see any improvement tbh. Maybe it doesn't agree with my skin.

I used this product and felt that it didn't do so much. I switched to the glycolic toner of the same range and I think this is more effective. A lot is down to strength

Glycolic is the worst of the acids and only suits very resistant and oily skin. Try salicylic or lactic instead.

Works brilliantly for me. I use caudilie night cream with glycolic acid and always wake up looking like I've had some sleep (I never have)
. I also use salicylic acid from Paula's choice twice a day. Then The Ordinary bha aha red strip your face face mask stuff weekly. I've gone from spotty, wrinkly person with blackheads on my nose to looking quite reasonable if I say so myself. Love acids.
