Returns going missing

This never used to be an issue but I have noticed more and more that returns are going missing. In the past year I have lost things to my Hermes and Royal Mail and am now chasing another one of each.

Has anyone noticed this happening more?

Yes. It got boring and put me off online shopping. I’ve saved tonnes of money

I think I’m going to pack it in. My uniqlo refund turned up today but only after I complained

Oh weird. Hope this puts me off too! I was pissed off recently, I placed one Boden order which they split into two packages as one item wasn't available straight away. First package I was able to send some back free of charge, second package which was sent a few weeks later had only one item which they said I'd have to pay myself to send back. I didn't like that

With Hermes, usually the tracking would stop updating half way through but the packages did actually arrive. Lord knows what the point of the tracking was

This has happened to me twice in 3 months now, la redoute returns via Hermes. On both occasions the person on the phone sounded unsurprised and just credited my account even though they hadn't received the returns! I had to be able to provide the Hermes barcode number from the wee slip of paper you get as a receipt tho, so I'm very careful to hang onto these now!
