What do you use to sharpen your eyeliner pencils? I've just bought a UD eyeliner as recommended on here but not sure of the best way to sharpen it.

You need a specific eyeliner sharpener.

They sell them in superdrug

Yep - get an eyeliner sharpener. I have a No7 one which has a fat and a thin side for different sized pencils, an easy to remove cover to catch the shavings/keep it clean in my bag, and a little scraper to help get any softer pencil off the blade.

I sometimes put my softer pencils in the freezer for a bit to harden them up to get a better point.

Normal sharpeners work in an absolute pinch if they're cleaned properly but they can damage the pencils as they aren't designed for softer 'leads' and obviously you run the risk of picking up minute pieces of wood/graphite which you really don't want anywhere near your eyes.

Thanks for your help, I'll buy a specific one.
