Which dress?

Which dress do you like best?
I am thinking of putting a full skirt under the lace halter for a poofier skirt.

Definitely 1!

Hamsterriffic · 16/02/2020 23:13

1 is my favourite. 2 is nice with less cleavage... not much of a consensus is there OP Confused

rainpain · 16/02/2020 23:15

3 is a very flattering shape on you & gives you a tiny waist but I don't love the lace.

2 love the skirt but too booby

1 is a bit old fashioned.

NewInTown08 · 16/02/2020 23:49

Thank you all.
I am definitely confused now. I think I might need to go try on a few more styles. I was very excited about these dresses but I keep second guessing everything about them.
I will give myself some time to let the thoughts settle and see how I feel.

I love the strapless one on you :)

AmICrazyorWhat2 · 17/02/2020 03:08

No. 3 really suits you. I like the material on No. 2. but the style isn't right. Not sure about No. 1. either.

Maybe try on a few more strapless dresses, the style's def. right!

GrassyGreen · 17/02/2020 04:13

Number 2, but it has a bit too much boob imo. If you think so too, maybe try adding a modesty band?

GrassyGreen · 17/02/2020 04:14

Actually I take that back. I've looked again and number 1 is the best.

habibihabibi · 17/02/2020 04:18

Two by far . It is much more classic but you definately need to have it altered to fit your norks.

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 17/02/2020 04:18

Number 3 is my favourite shows your shape - if you want straps you could get pieces of lace as a wide strap

Look at B&W films from 40/50s for ideas on what I mean

The problem with 2 is the cleavage is too low so if that was fixed or altered then ok

Agree though that perhaps you haven't yet found "your dress" unless one of these made you feel amazing when you were wearing it, if so then that is "your dress"

Hope you have a fab day - congratulations SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Please post the actual dress you choose

PixieN · 17/02/2020 04:45

My favourite is number 1.

lexiepuppy · 17/02/2020 05:04

3 looks stunning on you.

PurpleDaisies · 17/02/2020 05:10

I like dress 1 best. I love the fabric.

Girlintheframe · 17/02/2020 05:18

2nd dress. You look fab!

DarkMutterings · 17/02/2020 05:40

2 just for the pockets

feesh · 17/02/2020 05:41

None of them, I think there’s too much skin on show and it looks unbalanced with the full skirts. I prefer a more covered look for weddings.

MrOnionsBumperRoller · 17/02/2020 06:48
  1. 1 is meh, 2 too tight, stiff and long (!). You have a lovely figure so will look fab in whichever you choose.
BobbyBlueCat · 17/02/2020 07:33

The third one gives you a better shape on the waist. The other two make you look square and shapeless.

One and two are inappropriate for a wedding day. Put your breasts away. Completely. Get your tits on display on a night out if that's what you want. Your guests don't need to see them on your wedding day. Awful.

You do suit a dress with straps/sleeves rather than the strapless look of number three though.
I don't like strapless dresses. Brides always pulling them up in that rather trashy manner. Photos where you're sat down (meal/signing the register etc) always show the dress gaping or breasts spilling out, no matter how well fitted it is. It just makes me want to throw a canape down there.

For your shape, I'd go for something nipped in at the waist like dress 3. Add a belt if you need to.
You need sleeves/straps, not a strapless dress.
Cover your bloody boobs. Be respectful.
Fine / delicate material suits you better than a heavy, opaque fabric.

lilgreen · 17/02/2020 07:35

3rd. It’s very flattering on your waist. I like no 2 but it’s too booby.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 17/02/2020 07:37

1 by a mile! I suspect this thread is not helping you decide Grin

StarlightLady · 17/02/2020 07:37

No. 2.

I don’t think it’s too booby either. You have a lovely figure and we should be proud of our breasts. They celebrate our womanhood.

FuckyNel · 17/02/2020 07:46

3

StarlightLady · 17/02/2020 08:44

OP, listen to constructive comments here (I have already commented) but at the end of the day, weigh them up, but make it your choice for your special day.

yellowallpaper · 17/02/2020 08:51

3 first, 2nd is best but poor much boob! 1 is boring.

If you can get the 2nd but cut a bit higher that would be nicest

StCharlotte · 17/02/2020 08:56

No. 2 is too booby for a wedding dress and is bordering on indecent for such an occasion. I'm not generally a prude. Shame as the rest of it is lovely.

(You have great boobs BTW!)
