Red hair won't leave!!

I dyed my hair red a year ago, I think I topped it up once more but then decided not to bother and go back to dark grey. I have since dyed my hair dark grey 3 times, straight onto the red, but the bloody red won't leave in a band around my head! The roots and ends take lovely but there's one band that won't!

Any suggestions??

You need to use a dye with Ash in the description.

Maybe need to use one of those colour removers as red is the hardest to get rid of

I think because Ash has green undertones so it cancels out red.

Might be worth trying the extra strength Colour B4 and make sure you rinse for the full time, otherwise it can oxidize. Sometimes you just need a second go with red.
