Kids waterproof trousers

Can anyone point me in the direction of good 'pull on over your trousers' waterproof trousers please? I don't know what brands are good so I'm loathe to pay £20+ for something which lets in water!

Thank you for your help.

Hatley do good ones!

Smurf123 · 15/02/2020 21:26

Lidl have really good ones... Hopefully due in to store over the next couple of weeks

DS goes to an outdoor nursery- generally accepted by all Lidl are the best, his have taken a lot of harsh treatment and haven't worn or torn at all. Plus they're fleece lined so warm. But obviously the downside is you have to wait for them to come out on sale! I buy up a load of their waterproofs when they do!

Also JoJo Maman Bebe for smaller children

Got to be Lidl. They are about £5 a pair and are simply fantastic. My kids go to forest school everyday and they’ve taken a massive battering and are still as good as new.

I've bought some from Ebay which are Lupilu (Lidl brand). Thanks for the advice.

Another endorsement for the Lidl lupilu trousers. They are also fleece lined, so warm as well as waterproof.

Sporty otter - amazing but £££.
H&M rubbery ones

stargirl1701 · 15/02/2020 22:52

Didriksons are THE best and repairable.

I've had 2 DC through outdoor nurseries and nothing was better for every day, 8am-6pm useage.

BikeRunSki · 16/02/2020 00:13

if these come back in stock, they are superb at half the cost of Didrickson’s. The Lupilu ones are similar.

Decathlon to great ones... approx £5
