Mascara recommendations - non clumping!

Wondering if anyone can recommend a great non clumping, separating mascara?
Have been using Diorshow Iconic in brown for years which is good and gives a nice effect - more natural than dramatic - but wondering if there are any better contenders out there before I purchase my next one? The problem with Diorshow is that I don't think it's great for longevity and tends to dry up after a couple of months (I don't wear mascara every day, maybe 3 x days a week). Or is that normal for most mascaras?
I have quite long lashes but they have a mind of their own and whilst adding a bit of thickness would be nice I prefer that they are well separated and evenly coated without any dreaded clumps!
Any recommendations?

Depends what your looking for I suppose. I recently got Lancôme Hypnose Doll and it clumps. Quite dramatic look on the eyes but more suited for evening imo.
I've also just bought a Clinique waterproof one which is very natural though does lengthen my lashes but without the clumps

Guerlain maxi lash so volume doesn't clump

MimiLaRue · 15/02/2020 12:27

YSL faux lash is good

Maybelline Lash Sensational, best ever. I keep going back to it (and I'm 73!!)

LilyJade · 15/02/2020 14:43

Clinique high impact

abitoflight · 15/02/2020 14:44

Nanthewiser - I came on here to look for a none clumping mascara as my lash sensational clumps! What colour tube is yours in? Mine is pink metallic

Florabritannica · 15/02/2020 14:46

I like Nars Climax

LajesticVantrashell · 15/02/2020 14:47

I had a Boots Natural Collection one which was great for length and a bargain at £2 a tube.

Loreal telescopic gold tube - used it for about ten years now , always come back to it. Gives great length and no clumping and it seems to last well for months. I recently thought I'd venture out and try the new maybelline false lash effect, and have gone straight back to my telescopic as it's just so much better.

I always go back to Rimmel volume flash, I’ve been using it for years, also benefit roller lash is good.

Hourglass Caution mascara.

It's brilliant but pricy.

The best cheaper mascara I've found is L'Oréal Paradise mascara. It's not quite as good as Hourglass but for the price it's blummin close.

NanTheWiser · 15/02/2020 17:42

@abitoflight, yes mine is the pink one too. Maybe you've got a dud one! They can get a bit clumpy when nearly empty, but I usually bin them then.

TroubleNo1 · 15/02/2020 17:45

Thanks everyone! Lots of options to look into! I prefer a more natural but still noticeable look....... I don't have much need for dramatic eyes with 2 preschoolers..... not many nights out here!!

I love the Lancôme ones, they last ages. Hate my Hourglass.. clumps every time

MotherofPearl · 15/02/2020 18:49

A vote here for Clarins Be Long. Lengthens and gives a nice smooth finish. I've never found it clumpy. It seems quite a lightweight formulation, but still makes a big difference to lashes.
