Shoes too big

I've bought some gorgeous new shoes in the sale to wear to a wedding. They are supposed to be a 6.5 but are actually a 7.
Does anyone have any recommendations on something comfortable to stop them slipping off my heel. I've put in in-soles so they feel snug all over but still slip on my heel.

How about padded heel grips? Amazon sell them about £7

I used to put cotton, tissue paper or sponge in the toe.

Yes cotton wool should be OK as a one-off. Remember not to take your shoes off in front of anyone Grin

Yes cotton wool could work. I've got some heel pad things but they don't sip the slipping. Maybe I should try the gel ones instead.

Leather insoles, you can get full or half sole. Takes shoes down half a size. Amazon do them really cheap.
