Hush harems, worth it??

I’ve been eyeing up the Hush harems for about a year now after spotting them on here but I’m just not sure if they’re worth the price tag. Are they worth it or are there cheaper alternatives out there that are just as nice? Also, what do I wear on my feet with them? I desperately want to update my wardrobe and love the comfy but stylish look but am a bit useless and need a bit of direction. Thank you xx

Depends on how much you realistically will wear them? I always find harems seem like a great idea but in reality I rarely reach for them. I have a couple of cheaper eBay pairs and they're absolutely fine for the (few) times I reach for them.

I would also recommend looking at the Lucy & Yak Alexa trousers. They are super comfortable but I find them much easier to wear than harems.

I bought them and wore them once. I'm a 16 and they were very, very unflattering!! The may look better on someone slimmer...

They are awful trousers. You either look like you've shit yourself or an overstuffed sausage! Nobody can carry them off, even the models in still pictures.

They do have some uses though - I wore an ebay £5 pair as nightwear in a mosquito infested country and they were great for that!

I wear mine a lot but only during flipflop season. I have had one pair for 3 years and another pair for 2. The second pair is a little shorter in the leg (despite me ordering the same size) and is a little less flattering because of this.
I feel a bit dumpy/wide in them (which I’m not, 5’8”, size 10) in trainers but I love them with flipflops/Birkenstock’s when it’s warmer.
They wash beautifully.

Sooooo maybe not Definitely don’t want to look like I’ve shit myself, not the stylish casual vibe I’m after! Will have a look at the eBay ones for scaffing about in the house. Will also look at the Lucy and Yak trousers, I’ve been eyeing up their dungarees so might as well go all out! I really want to get out of my jeans and a jumper rut, thanks all xx

I have a full length pair and a 3/4 length pair. I find them really comfortable. I don't feel dumpy in them I'm a size 12 and 5'7" if that's any help. They are really soft and incredibly wind-proof for the thickness of fabric. I wore the shorter ones with trainers when it was warmer, but at the moment they only come out for yoga or around the house. The full length pair are worn with short felt boots or brown leather boots that are styled a bit like Dr Martin's.
My only complaint is that after a few months of wearing and washing, the navy pair are looking a little faded. The black pair still look good though

I wear them a lot at home as they are super comfy. They are not remotely glamorous or sophisticated though. Marginally better with flip flops or birkies.

DH has begged me to chuck them out because he hates them so much.

Oh yes - black pair faded badly.

Next do a version of these which wash and wear well.

My friend has them and looks fab in them. She wears with birkinstocks or trainers. I tried them and looked horrendous but I love the Amie joggers so would recommend them, much more flattering for my short and frumpy shape

I bought a black pair of the Hush ones and wore them regularly last summer with Birkenstocks. Absolutely loved the comfort and actually found them quite flattering (am a tall 8-10 but with a mum tum, so the waistband was perfect!) However IMO they’re seriously overpriced as after a few months they looked badly faded and really shabby. I’m someone who tries to buy stuff to last (really loathe the idea of fast fashion) and thought these were an investment, but they’re consigned to the wear at home pile now!

So I ended up going for a pair of Lucy and Yak Alexa trousers (along with a pair of dungarees that fell in my basket ). Really excited for them to arrive. Thanks for all your help xx

I have the Hush ones, and tbh, only wear them for long flights.

I think they are flattering but I am tallish and slim. I think they would not look good if you're short (5'5" or less)

I have a serious Hush addiction, but I think their stuff is very overpriced.

I have the grey ones in 3/4 length, wear them only in the height of summer. My only gripe is that the bottom hems are very tight indeed and leave red marks on my skin. I wouldn't want the upper part to be any baggier so I don't think I have the wrong size. They should be more comfy at that price... I keep thinking I should have sent them back as they are literally painful once taken off. I have pretty muscly legs so perhaps it's just designed for skinny women.

I have 2 pairs, both of which are hugely unflattering. I am a long pear shape so not sure if that is why? They are comfy for around the house, but would never wear them out
